About
Daniella Ljungsberg is a Sweden-based composer, singer, and producer. She studied at the Department of New Music at the Musrara Multidisciplinary School of Art in Jerusalem. Ljungsberg blends her passion for field recordings, acoustic instruments, and abstract noise with extensive digital manipulation. Since 2019, she has released three instrumental albums on Raash Records (Jerusalem), Quality Music (Vienna), and Saga Domaine (The Netherlands). Her fourth album, released in early 2024 on Orthodox Records (Paris), features poems written and composed by Ljungsberg. The album explores themes of personal memory, its evolution, and the tension between recollection and reality. Ljungsberg's music carries a dream-pop-folk tone, layered with synths, field recordings, noise, and textured vocal processing. She performs as a solo artist, in her duo IMMA with Itzik Gil Avizohar, and through various collaborations in dance and film. Her work has been showcased at notable venues and festivals, including Paris Fashion Week, Rhiz (Vienna), Stockholm Fringe Festival, Suzanne Dellal Center (Tel Aviv), Madame Claude (Berlin), Skaiv (Stockholm), Holland Dance Festival, Chemnitz Dance Festival, and more.
