About
Krithi is a producer, remix artist and DJ, blending sounds from the Indian Subcontinent with electronica, hiphop & dance music. She has released 6 instrumental only-albums since July 2020, her most recent—"Coping Mechanisms" was featured on DJ Mag and Mixmag in February 2024. Her music has been played on BBC Radio, the Lot Radio, Hör, and ZiFM stereo. She has remixed songs for NYC-based electronic and dance artists. Her work also includes vocal + percussion sample packs for Splice and Serato Studio. When she's not making music, she works for Building Beats and We Make Noise NYC (fka Beats by Girlz NYC), two organizations dedicated to making music technology more accessible for marginalized communities. She was also appointed as a cultural ambassador through Next Level USA, an international hip hop diplomacy initiative run by the U.S. Department of State, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Meridian International Center. She has facilitated beatmaking and production workshops internationally in cities like Chennai (India) and Harare (Zimbabwe).
