Here are all the reasons why you should avoid the TikTok Share Bot
The TikTok Share Bot promises to get you more followers – but it’s not as simple as that. Here’s what you need to know about the TikTok Share Bot, how it works and why you shouldn’t use it.
Building an audience online can be tough. The TikTok Share Bot promises to get you more followers – but it’s not as simple as that. Here’s what you need to know about the TikTok Share Bot, how it works and why you shouldn’t use it.
What is the TikTok Share Bot?
The TikTok Share Bot is a hack created to boost shares. Essentially, it’s a cheat code. It generates huge amounts of shares – sometimes in the millions – for your videos, slots them nicely into the trending algorithm and increases your chances of reaching more people. Sounds great, right?
It’s not, unfortunately. The shares are generated by random bots. They're not real. More on that below.
Do people use the TikTok Share Bot with Replit?
The TikTok Share Bot’s popularity has grown due to its ease. You don’t have to code or know much about technology to use it – people just access it with Replit.
Replit is a platform used to code everything from websites to apps and bots. It’s a community-driven space where developers often post pieces of code to help other people: hacks, fixes, developments, that sort of thing.
If people want to use the TikTok Share Bot, all they need to do is find it for free on Replit. Different versions crop up every now and then, as they keep being removed.
Once people find the TikTok Share Bot, they simply paste their video’s link into the code, enter how many shares they’d like to receive, then run it. It’s free to use, takes barely any time and earns creators endless shares in a few seconds.
Why shouldn’t you use the TikTok Share Bot?
The original TikTok Share Bot, created by a Replit user called Axilus, was removed once TikTok became aware. The platform grew suspicious, as the Share Bot started messing up video engagement metrics – users were receiving thousands of shares for videos with hardly any views.
However, other free TikTok Share Bots have become available. And it’s not OK.
The TikTok Share Bot makes it harder for other creators to receive views, as people butt their way into users’ feeds without actually putting in the hard work. It’s unfair and unethical.
It’s also against TikTok’s Community Guidelines, which don’t allow:
- Fake engagement, which includes anything that tries to inflate popularity on the platform.
- Sharing instructions on how to create fake engagement.
- Promotion of artificial traffic generation services, like the TikTok Share Bot.
- Creating or changing code to artificially increase views, likes, followers, shares or comments.
Does TikTok ban for botting?
You risk a temporary – or even permanent – ban on TikTok if you’ve done any of those things listed above. If you’ve shared tips on how to access a TikTok Share Bot or have used it to inflate your own shares, we’d recommend deleting that content.
It’s not worth getting caught, and even if you do use the TikTok Share Bot and it scores you more genuine views… you cheated. That sucks, and it takes away from all the hard work people put into their content.
If you want to get more followers, why not try out these TikTok hacks? TikTok is a marathon, not a sprint. It pays off to experiment with different styles, lengths and topics when creating content.
