WHERE DO YOU FIND INSPIRATION TO CREATE CONTENT AND HOW DID YOU FIND EPIDEMIC SOUND?
For my videos, I find inspiration in two places. Firstly, by looking through my comments to see what my audience wants to learn about. Secondly, I do extensive research to discover new things that'll interest my audience (that they're not yet aware of).
I found Epidemic Sound after spending hours researching the best website for music for my YouTube videos. I was blown away by the amount of music available on Epidemic Sound, and I loved that I could filter by mood because it made it really easy for me to find music that helped create the emotional response I wanted my viewers to have.
WHAT ARE YOUR TIPS FOR CREATORS WHO WANT TO MONETIZE THEIR CHANNELS?
I've been a creator now for around five years and have worked with over 270,000 creators through my business. The individuals that I see really make a career out of being a creator would do this job for free — ironically, they also become the most successful! So, it’s important to create content you're genuinely interested in or passionate about.
My primary focus when sharing affiliate links is making sure that I’m using it organically in my content. I want the piece of content to address a problem that the affiliate offer solves, naturally. That way, both my goals and my audience's goals are aligned, and I’m not promoting a product that won't genuinely help them!
