Make the World Smile: Win $500 and a yearly Epidemic Sound subscription

We’d like to say thank you and give everyone who participated in last week’s ‘Make A Movie Trailer’ challenge, a big high five!

We had about 300 people taking part in the challenge, so choosing the winners was not easy. We were impressed to the moon and back with your creativity.

Now, here’s a hint for our next challenge:

Sunshine. Rainbows. A breeze of fresh air. Hot tea on a rainy day. A joke when you needed it most. Freshly baked bread straight out of the oven. People coming together (#come2gether). Puppies.

That’s right – this time, we want you to help us make the world smile. It can be anything from your fuzzy cat to a stand-up routine to a moving short story – whatever you want to share to help put a smile on someone else’s face halfway across the globe!

Epidemic Presents: Make the World Smile challenge

Submit your video by Sunday, April 5, for your chance to win 500 USD and a yearly subscription with the Commercial plan.

Here’s how it goes:

• You have from today until this Sunday, April 5, to submit your video through Typeform (link below). We understand that our community is very global, so here’s the rule of thumb: whenever the clock strikes midnight in your respective time zones, time’s up!
• To take the challenge, you need to have an active subscription. If you haven’t got one, sign up for a free trial here.
• Three winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 8, through email, blog and our social media. Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram to stay in the loop! (@epidemicsound)

Here are the rules:

• Your video must be under 1 minute
• Film at home! #stayathome #socialdistancing
• Aspect ratio must be 4 x 5
• You must be the sole rights owner of the video content
• You must use Epidemic music and SFX! Sign up here to start your free trial

• We only accept Google Drive or WeTransfer links. Make sure to double-check your link grants us access! If we cannot access your file, your work won’t be considered.
• The winners will be chosen by a team at Epidemic based on originality and creativity.

With half the world being stuck in quarantine, the need for fun, engaging and educating content has never been bigger. And here at Epidemic, we’ve been overwhelmed by our community which has been amazing at creatively adapting to this ever-changing time. From in-house photography to live-streamed classes, you have shown us that social distancing can’t stop us from coming together.
